Dear Empath,

As we transition into the enchanting season of Autumn and embrace the energies of Libra, I wanted to reach out and share some thoughts that might resonate with your empathic nature.

Autumn is a time of transformation, when nature’s vibrant colors fade into warm, comforting hues, and cooler weather. It is also when we experience the autumn equinox, a moment of balance and harmony between day and night. In the world of astrology, this season is ruled by Libra, the sign of balance, justice, and relationships.

For empaths like you and I, this season can hold particular significance. It offers a unique opportunity to focus on two essential aspects of self-care and growth: healing your inner child and indulging in comfort and balance.

Here are a few ways you can harness the magic of the Libra Season, as you embark on this healing journey:

“Embracing our inner child simply means that we notice that our thought and behavioral patterns are no longer healthy, keeping us safe, or producing the same desired outcomes as they did when we were children, and commit to the work of reparenting those parts of ourselves,”

Tassiello

Healing Your Inner Child:

Embracing the energy of autumn equinox and Libra season, consider dedicating some time to connect with your inner child. Just as the leaves fall gracefully from the trees, this is a time to release any emotional baggage or wounds from your past. Your empathic nature often leads you to take on others’ emotions, so it’s crucial to nurture your own emotional well-being.

Try engaging in activities that spark your inner child’s joy and creativity. Whether it’s through art, play, or simply spending time in nature, reconnecting with your inner child can be deeply healing.

Gate 25 Innocence

Speaking of your inner child. …

Between Sept 22 – 27, the Earth is in Gate 25 in the Human Design Mandala Transits.

Gate 25 is associated with the energy of innocence and the ability to bring a fresh and childlike perspective to life. When Gate 25 is activated and defined in a person’s chart or via the current transit, and it is connected to the Earth symbol, it can have specific implications for your energy and experiences this week.

Do you have Gate 25 next to Earth in your chart? if not, we all will feel this energy during the transit. This gate is located in your identity center.

Here are some key aspects of Gate 25 when it is connected to the Earth symbol:

Innocence and Simplicity: Gate 25 represents a childlike innocence and simplicity. When connected to the Earth, this energy is grounded and practical. It can manifest as a person who approaches life with a straightforward and uncomplicated perspective.

Practical Wisdom: While innocence is a central theme, it doesn’t imply naivety. Instead, Gate 25 represents a form of practical wisdom that comes from seeing the world with fresh eyes and a lack of preconceived notions. It’s about experiencing life in the present moment. Viewing the relationship as it’s own entity for spiritual awakening and growth versus the other person against you.

Trust in the Process: People with Gate 25 connected to the Earth may have a deep trust in the natural unfolding of events. They may believe in the innate goodness of life and have faith that things will work out as they should. The eternal optimist.

This gate encourages authenticity. When it is connected to the Earth, it suggests that the individual’s grounded and genuine approach to life is based on this innocence and trust in the world.

This energy helps us who have been jaded and feel like giving up on life or joy to help boost us out of their vortex.

Stability: The Earth symbol in Human Design often represents a sense of stability and grounding. When combined with Gate 25, it can indicate that the person’s childlike innocence and authenticity provide a stable and reliable foundation for their life.

Gate 25 individuals can be sensitive, but their connection to the Earth symbol suggests that this sensitivity is grounded and balanced. They are in touch with their emotions and intuition without being overwhelmed by them. And they have a solid sense of self and security.

“But They were all I needed to survive

To find my strength of self to build my life back up to thrive

Your harness of blame, shame and disappointment is gone

I now radiate and live in laughter acceptance, surrender and song

I learned how to burn off my insecurities and shadow because of you.

If you had not tried to control me I would be a zombie still too

But wait, none of the credit goes to you.

I did It not you

The tears, the emotional work, and focus.

I did the healing and relit my fire inside me – not you.

You don’t hold power over me anymore

You aren’t my meter for my self worth

I feel whole worthy love and abundance

I HOLD my light, power and worth

And defeat that past me of repugnance.”

Indulging in Comfort and Balance:

Libra, the sign of balance and harmony, encourages us to seek equilibrium in our lives. As an empath, you may often find yourself giving your energy to others, so now is an ideal time to focus on self-care. Fill your cup up first before you help others.

Indulge in the comforts that bring you a sense of peace and well-being. It could be as simple as lighting your favorite scented candle, taking long, mindful walks, or curling up with a good book and a warm cup of tea. Libra is ruled. byVenus and rearranging some furniture or redecorating a small surface will lift your spirits. Exploring art and letting. goof judgement of the results is another great exercise during Libra season and beyond.

Pay attention to your emotional needs and make self-care a priority. And remember…

Gate 46 Love of Body

The Sun is in Gate 46 of the Human Design Mandala between September 21 – 27, 2023.

The Gene Keys calls this gate Ecstasy.

In Human Design, the Sun Gate 46 is associated with the hexagram called “Pushing Upward” in the I Ching. This gate represents the energy of determination, upward movement, and a desire to break through obstacles. When the Sun transits through Gate 46 during Libra season or any other time, it can influence you in different ways based on your Human Design chart and the positions of other planets and gates.

Here are some general characteristics of the Sun Gate 46 energy:

Determination: People may feel a strong sense of determination and a willingness to push through challenges and obstacles during this time. It’s a time for taking action and making progress. **cough, cough** did you read that?

Let me repeat it in another way. Since Libra and the confidence of the Love of Body gate urges you to push though your obstacle of leaving a very unbalance relationship with a narcissist. This is some potent energy to bolster your sense of self and knowing you are worthy of getting out of your funk, out of your depression and moving out of a toxic scenario.

It’s this energy of breaking through limitations. It encourages you to rise above restrictions and limitations in pursuit of your goals and desires.aka freedom.

There is a sense of self-reliance and independence associated with this gate. You may feel more empowered to make decisions and take control of your own destiny. (Especially if you know your Human Design chart and roadmap for your major life themes and purpose. )

The energy of Gate 46 can bring resilience and the ability to bounce back from setbacks. It’s a time for perseverance and not giving up easily.

This energy may help you find yourself more focused on your long-term goals and what you want in a relationship, and what you wish to achieve. This can be a productive and goal-oriented period.

Gate 46 can also bring out leadership qualities. People may be more inclined to take charge and guide others toward a common objective. This may be just the leadership energy to get yourself up and out of the dark situation you have been wishing to be set free from. Only you have the power for yourself from within. And you CAN set yourself free when you are ready.

It’s important to note that in Human Design, the Sun Gate’s influence is just one aspect of a person’s chart. Other factors, such as the positions of the Moon, planets, and the rest of the gates, can significantly influence an individual’s energy and behavior during any given season. Therefore, the specific impact of the Sun in Gate 46 during Libra season will vary from person to person based on their unique Human Design configuration.

Gate 46 Affirmation: “I empower myself with unwavering willpower to break free from the grasp of the narcissist. I honor my worth and protect my energy, knowing that my boundaries are sacred.

I am resilient, and I reclaim my strength, independence, and self-love.

I am free to nurture my own well-being and thrive in a life of authenticity, love, and self-respect.”

Tarot: Temperance

The Tarot card that symbolizes love, balance, and the connection between body and spirit, making it particularly relevant to Libra season, is the “Temperance” card (XIV).

Photo by Los Muertos Crew on Pexels.com

The Temperance card is often associated with the zodiac sign Libra due to its emphasis on harmony, balance, and the blending of opposites. In this card, you typically see an angelic figure pouring liquid from one cup to another, representing the mixing of two elements or energies.

Key symbolism and interpretations of the Temperance card in the connection of love and the connection between body and spirit include:

Harmony and Balance: The central theme of the Temperance card is balance and harmony the quintessential theme of Libra.

It reminds me of the new Disney movie Elemental. Where water and fire when touching changed each others chemistry. Fire boils water transforming it into steam.

It also reminds me of emotions. Water is the symbol for emotions, yet a “firey” temper is also a symbol for “hot” emotions. I have been finding lately it is a message from my spirit tree to be more watery when i feel the purple fire temper simmering up, or even when it has exploded.

This card encourages us to find equilibrium in our relationships and within ourselves.

It symbolizes the successful integration of contrasting elements, such as love and reason, passion and restraint, light and darkness, and the physical and spiritual aspects of life.

It suggests a spiritual journey and personal transformation through the union of opposite energies. In love, this can represent the coming together of two individuals with different qualities or backgrounds, creating a harmonious partnership. Which can be challenging, yet also truly rewarding.

It encourages you to find emotional and spiritual healing through moderation, patience, and self-care, fostering a loving and balanced connection between your body and spirit as the Sun is highlighting now in the Gate 46 in your identity center.

The angelic figure on the card is a symbol of divine guidance and protection. It suggests that love, when approached with a balanced and open heart, can be a transformative and spiritual experience.

Temperance represents the idea of unconditional love, where love is given freely and without expectations. It encourages you to love yourself and others with acceptance and compassion. (With boundaries still in place.)

In summary, the Temperance card in the Tarot is a beautiful representation of the themes associated with Libra season, emphasizing the love of body and spirit, harmony, and balance in both relationships and personal well-being. When this card appears in a reading, it often serves as a reminder to seek harmony, moderation, and spiritual connection in your life and relationships.

Libra Ritual :

Journal your emotions.

Find time to communicate the hard emotions to your loved ones.

Draw boundaries and ask for more of what your inner child needs.

Contemplate the lighting of the season. Wake up early for sunrise and allow your lights in your house to dim at sunset.

Redecorate a space in your home.

Slow down and reflect more and tune into life being cyclical versus a constant push.

Gate 58 Joy

The Moon is in Gate 58 of the Human Design Mandala now Sept 21 – 27 2023

Here are some key aspects of Gate 58 when it is connected to the Moon symbol:

Gate 58 represents a natural inclination toward joy and optimism in one’s emotional experiences. Individuals with this configuration may have a generally positive and hopeful outlook on life, even when facing challenges.

When Gate 58 is connected to the Moon, it suggests that a person’s emotional nature is expressive. They may find it relatively easy to share their feelings and enthusiasm with others, and they may uplift those around them with their joyful presence.

While this gate is associated with joy and optimism, it doesn’t mean that individuals with this configuration avoid or suppress deeper emotions. Instead, they have the capacity to access a wellspring of positive emotions that can help them navigate emotional challenges with a sense of hope and resilience.

People with Gate 58 connected to the Moon may have emotional flexibility and adaptability. They can shift from one emotional state to another and bounce back from emotional setbacks relatively quickly.

This configuration can lead to a strong appreciation for the beauty and positivity in life. Individuals may find joy in simple pleasures and may have a natural ability to find the silver lining in various situations.

The Moon’s position and the lunar cycle can influence how this gate is expressed in a person’s life. The energy of Gate 58 may be particularly prominent or activated during certain phases of the lunar cycle.

It’s important to note that a person’s entire Human Design chart, including the positions of other gates, channels, and centers, plays a significant role in how these energies are expressed and experienced. The connection between Gate 58 and the Moon is just one piece of the overall Human Design puzzle. To get a more complete understanding of how this configuration influences a person’s unique energy and emotional nature, it’s advisable to consult with a Human Design expert who can provide a personalized interpretation based on the full chart.

Gate 58 Affirmation: “I radiate joy from the depths of my being. Joy is my natural state, and I allow it to flow freely through me, lighting up my life and the lives of those around me.

I find joy in the simplest of moments and embrace the beauty of each day with a heart full of happiness. My life is a joyful journey, and I am grateful for every step along the way.”

What is the Fall Equinox anyway?

The fall equinox, also known as the autumnal equinox, is one of the two equinoxes that occur each year when the sun crosses the celestial equator, resulting in approximately equal daylight and nighttime hours. The word “equinox” comes from the Latin words “aequus,” meaning equal, and “nox,” meaning night, so the term “equinox” signifies the time of the year when day and night are roughly of equal length.

In the Northern Hemisphere, the fall equinox occurs around September 21st to 23rd each year, marking the official start of the autumn season. On this day, the sun is directly above the Earth’s equator, and as a result, both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres receive almost the same amount of sunlight. After the fall equinox, the Northern Hemisphere begins to tilt away from the sun, leading to shorter daylight hours and cooler temperatures as autumn progresses into winter.

Conversely, in the Southern Hemisphere, the same event is referred to as the spring equinox, marking the start of the spring season and the time when the Southern Hemisphere starts tilting toward the sun, resulting in longer daylight hours and warming temperatures.

The specific date of the fall equinox can vary slightly from year to year, but it usually falls on or around September 22nd or 23rd in the Northern Hemisphere. This year Sept 22, 2023 is the date of the Fall Equinox.

Self-Care and Boundaries: Embrace the energy of balance by setting clear boundaries with others. Human Design Gates of this Libra Fall Equinox

*As always, keep in mind that the interpretation of gates in Human Design can vary based on an individual’s chart and the interactions with other gates, channels, and centers. For a more personalized understanding of the Gate’s significance in your Human Design chart, consider consulting a certified Human Design professional.

The chart for this Autumn Equinox for LA

It is quite astounding how many gates are highlighted in the Identity Center that is defined. In addition there is a Channel from Gate 10 to Gate 57 from the Identity to the Spleen. This shows me that there is consistent energy in the collectives sense of self. And as a collective we can carry those who are not feeling so good about themselves up out of the mud.

This is a strong independent and loving energy from the heart space. Deep compassion, a strong sense of ego. In the shadow this can be seen as too serious or too prideful stuck in the ego.

And in the gift of this energy we can find pleasure, joy, and light hearted spirit in dropping our pride and leaning into the harmony of the moment. This gift as in the Gene Keys he calls it, can then be enlightened up into the Siddhi of Ecstasy. The sheer pleasure of a deep breathe in the woods, or smelling and sipping the best pumpkin spice latte made from real ingredients can bring you this form of ecstasy. Just as being spiritually connected with your partner naked can.
