The Abuse Behind Closed Doors
I remember I kept trying to fix myself, to fix the relationship. Over and over, and always believing his lies when I told him, he should change too. His Narcissist manipulation twisted my brain wires in such a way I’d believe it was all my fault.
I kept having mini wake up moments and would pack a bag and leave to a family member’s home or a friends. Then I would feel that empty ache in my body, like I made a mistake. Much like a drug addict who feels a real withdraw when trying to get sober. I’d pick up the “metaphorical needle” and I would text him. And he’d reel me back in with his charm and lies that everything will be ok. If I just do this one simple thing. I forgive you.”
7 attempts of this 8 years later, I thought marriage would stabilize our drama.
But NO. – It actually made it worse.
Well, I finally was successful in moving out on my 8th. And it only was successful because of my resolve. And that resolve came from one simple line he crossed. He hit me.
But I didn’t give on the relationship still. I moved out so we could go to therapy and work on our marriage.
HAHA! That was foolish. I was so delusional. As I found out, a week earlier he tried to cheat on me with my sister. So when I learn that fun fact, I filed for a divorce.
As I was in those final hours with the Narcissist, I had a Spiritual Awakening that was so frightening like a horror movie, with dark mist, and shadow figures haunting me.

My commitment
This inevitably lead me down a path of a Spiritual Journey. I got into meditation, yoga, astrology, crystals, Past Life, Shadow Work, Akashic Records, and I’m sure I’m missing other things I dove into.
Then I was introduced to Human Design by someone offering to read my chart for me.
It was eye opening! It has given me clarity on how powerful I am. Validated my skills and purpose, while extinguishing the lies of society, and of my ex Narcissist.
PLUS my negative thoughts.
And it truly has been a guide to help me find my purpose, destiny, and connection to my Soul!
Which has guided me in all my decisions to lead me where I am today as a Podcaster, Author, and Human Design Interpreter.
That shift out of being a victim, of the lies and manipulation of my ex Narcissist, into a thriving champion for other survivors was embolded by this awareness of my Energetic make-up.
AKA: My Human Design
I remember when I first discovered Human Design and was meditating for the first time and doing Yoga, I had a dream. My deceased grandfather (Papa I called him) visited me in my dream one night and spoke to me (without moving his lips with a huge smile on his face).
He said that I was on the right path. Don’t doubt it, keep going. He loved me and was proud of me. I asked if I could hug him, thinking he would squish away like a cloud, but he was solid. I hugged him and leaned into him, and as I pushed him back, the kitchen counter behind him squished through like a cloud!
I was blown away! Emboldened, loved, and affirmed.
I was confident I was on the right path and there something to healing with Human Design!
– I started practicing my knowledge in reading Human Design charts, by reading anyone who wished for free the first couple years.
And most recently I have published a Human Design Healing Guidebook as a follow up to my first book: Empath and The Narcissist, called Empath’s Guide to Rising Strong.

As I found out about my Energy Type that I can relax and stop pushing and do what I love and respond to those who asked me “How are you so brave?”
I learned how to lean into my correct next right step by listening to my “gut” as a Sacral Authority.
And that I was always sucked into the MO or agenda of the Narcissist with my open Will Center. Always walking on eggshells and trying to fix the negative emotions so I could stop amplifying them in my body with my open Solar Plexus Center.
It all clicked in a few instances when I got messages from Spirit Guides in a Spiritual Coaching session, “Why can’t you do both?! Help empaths healing from Narc abuse AND use Human Design to do it.”
I also kept hearing from podcast listeners how helpful knowing their chart is because they feel so lost from the Narcissist twisting their sense of self up.
