Happy New Moon: Time for Renewal and Pursuing Your Dreams šŸŒ™

Dear Empath,

As we welcome the screaming perfectionism of the New Moon in Virgo, I wanted to take a moment to wish you a Happy New Moon filled with positive energy, self-discovery, and the promise of new beginnings.

The New Moon is a powerful celestial event that invites us to reflect on our lives, uncover what doesn’t serve us, and set intentions to bring positive changes. For you dear empath, who possess a deep sense of empathy and sensitivity, this lunar phase can be especially meaningful and hard.

This New Moon provides the perfect opportunity to take a step back, tune into what is not working and your own needs, and make transformative choices.

Here are a few ways you can harness the magic of the New Moon in Virgo, as you embark on this lunar journey:

reflection of cloudy sky on lake surface

Self-Reflection: Use this time to reflect on your life and your emotional well-being. What is working well for you, and what isn’t? Speak up and have the tough conversations you are afraid of. If you with the right person, they will hear you and care for you.

Allow your empathic nature to guide you in understanding your innermost desires. Forget about all the expectations and opinions of others. Find your inner genius. Look at the signs the Universe has been showing you and go with what brings you passion. Sure other things may come easy, but what could you do all day? every day? What flows? What do you have more in you to share or do?

However, being is more important than doing. So find your center. Find your inner soul and light and be that no matter what you do.

“My love is just a reminder. Find your center.” – Trevor Hall

Set Clear Intentions: As you will read below, Virgo is very good at finding flaws and knowing how to fix them. So harness that energy as you pinpoint areas in your life that need attention or improvement. Set clear and achievable intentions. Whether it’s letting go of negative habits, nurturing your emotional health, or pursuing your dreams, these intentions can act as your compass.

Remember, you may not know how to cross the river, but each step out is in faith and a stone will catch you as you go.

Plant Seeds and Renew: The New Moon signifies a time for setting intentions. Let go of any emotional baggage or self-doubt that has been holding you back. So you may have a clean garden to plant your seeds of intentions for your dreams and future.

Trust in your ability to heal and transform. Trust that the Universe wishes to bring you your desires and is waiting for you to be open. When we doubt our ability, or our worth. When we compare ourselves to other more successful people, then that puts blocks up so that the energy the Universe wishes to send you can’t get through to you.

Open your heart up. Know that your existence means you are worthy of it. You don’t have to earn it, work for it, wait for someone to tell you you can have it. You are smarter and braver than you know. And you can help others who are a few steps behind you on that river.

Ritual :

Journal out your 3 year plan. Today is a powerful moment to set to plant a seed and set an intention for how you wish. to take successful action towards your future starting right now. Say a prayer, light some incense, and make it happen.

Create organized routines for self-care, focus on practical activities that promote wellness, engage in detail-oriented hobbies, practice mindfulness and grounding techniques.

Self-Care: Have you gone outside and walking among the Wise trees yet? Prioritize self-care. Nurture your body, mind, and soul. Make time for your yoga, tea, and tarot. (ooh that sounds like an amazing live Youtube weekly ritual to do as a community! Comment below if you’d join if I started those.)

Surround yourself with joy like pumpkin pie spice latte, a cozy puppy, ambient music, a picnic under the trees, a bike ride or a good book. And make time for practices that recharge your empathic energy. For instance this morning I placed crystals in an arrangement in front of my yoga mat and did yoga with crystals. Do you, and don’t think it’s weird. Lean into it and rejuvenate in it.

Dream Big: Your empathic nature is a gift that can be channeled into pursuing your passions and dreams. Believe in your abilities and take steps towards your goals, one small action at a time. There is a reason you admire the certain people you do. Instead of thinking, ‘I wish I was them.’, ask yourself, ‘What if I did something similar, but MY way?’ How much more would you thrive and serve with your unique energy combination.

Human Design is the map to show you how your gifts can help you on your journey and potentially benefit others. You want to look at your Incarnation cross, your Sun Gates, Mercury Gates, and Gene Keys. I will be sharing more about Gene Keys but in the mean time, start with the Human Design Page.

Remember, this journey is uniquely yours, and there’s no rush. Take each step with grace and patience, knowing that you have the strength within you to bring about meaningful change in your life.

As the New Moon hides in the night sky, may it fill you with renewed hope and a sense of purpose with your clean slate. I have every confidence that you’ll navigate this time with your characteristic empathy and grace.

Wishing you a beautifully transformative New Moon and a future filled with boundless possibilities. If you ever need a listening ear or a supportive friend, I’m here for you. (That’s my Profile 6/2 expertise. “The best shoulder to cry on.”

Why is the New Moon so Magical?

And what does The New Moon in Virgo mean? Let’s go back to the basics and not assume anything…

The phrase “New Moon in Virgo” refers to a specific astrological event where the moon is in the zodiac sign of Virgo during its New Moon phase. In astrology, the moon represents emotions, intuition, and the subconscious mind, while each zodiac sign is associated with certain qualities and characteristics.

When there is a New Moon in Virgo, it means that the Sun and Moon are both in the sign of Virgo at the same degree in the zodiac, which occurs approximately once a year. This month’s New Moon will take place on September 14, 2023 at 9:40 p.m. ET atĀ 21 degrees Virgo. While the Sun is also at 21 degrees Virgo.

This astrological event is thought to have specific influences on individuals and can be interpreted in various ways by astrologers. Here are some general traits and themes associated with a new moon in Virgo:

  1. Virgo is known for its attention to detail and precision. During a New Moon in Virgo, you may feel a heightened focus on the finer points of your life and a desire to organize and streamline your routines. And may even integrate a new healthy activity in your routine.
  2. Virgo is a practical and earthy sign. This New Moon may inspire you to take a practical approach to problem-solving and make practical, grounded decisions. Dreams can become reality with a list, spreadsheet, and plan.
  3. Virgo is often associated with health and wellness. This New Moon could be a time when you become more aware of your physical well-being and make changes to improve your health habits. Drinking more water, starting a new cleanse or diet, and implementing an exercise routine would be perfect intentions to set during this New Moon.
  4. Virgo is also linked to service and helping others. You may feel a strong desire to be of service to those in need or to assist others in a practical way. You may find an organization to donate to, or a community volunteer opportunity to jump start your service.
  5. This can be a time for self-improvement and personal growth. You may set goals for self-improvement and take steps to work on your skills or habits. Getting back into your journal, picking up that book you didn’t finish all help you during this Virgo New Moon.
  6. Virgo is an analytical sign, and during this New Moon, you may find yourself thinking analytically and critically about various aspects of your life.

It’s important to remember that astrology is a belief system and not a science, so interpretations of astrological events like a New Moon in Virgo can vary among astrologers. Some people find meaning and guidance in astrology, while others do not. Whether or not you believe in astrology, a New Moon can be a symbolic time for setting intentions and initiating new projects or changes in your life.

What does it mean when the Moon is Conjunct the Sun?

When the new moon is conjunct the sun, it means that the moon and the sun are in the same zodiac sign and at the same degree of the zodiac, as observed from Earth. This alignment is significant in astrology and carries specific symbolic and energetic meanings. Here’s what it generally signifies:

  1. New Beginnings: The new moon is often associated with fresh starts and new beginnings. When it’s conjunct the sun, it’s the beginning of a new lunar cycle, marking the start of a new phase in various aspects of life. It’s a time to set intentions and plant the seeds for future growth.
  2. Concentration of Energy: The conjunction of the Moon and Sun intensifies the energy of the zodiac sign they’re in. This concentration of energy can be channeled towards particular endeavors, making it an auspicious time for focused action and manifestation.
  3. Unity of Inner and Outer Worlds: The sun represents the conscious self and the external world, while the moon represents emotions, intuition, and the inner world. When they are conjunct, there’s a sense of unity between these aspects of yourself. It’s an ideal time to align your inner desires and emotions with your outer actions and goals.
  4. Clarity: The combination of the Sun’s illumination and the Moon’s renewal can bring clarity and insight. It’s a good time for introspection, self-reflection, and gaining a deeper understanding of your motivations and desires.
  5. Setting Intentions: Many people use the New Moon conjunct the sun as a time to set intentions or goals for the coming lunar cycle. Writing down your intentions or performing rituals that align with your aspirations can be a powerful way to work with this energy.
  6. Personal Growth: This conjunction can be seen as a symbol of personal growth and development. It’s a favorable time to take steps towards self-improvement, make decisions, and embark on new journeys. May I repeat, any time is a good time to start, but this is a GREAT time to start or do more personal growth.

It’s important to note that the specific influence of a New Moon conjunct the sun can vary depending on the zodiac sign it occurs in and any aspects it makes to other planets in the sky. Astrologers often provide more detailed and personalized interpretations based on the specifics of an individual’s birth chart and the astrological context at the time of the New Moon.

Overall, a New Moon conjunct the sun is a potent moment in the lunar cycle to align your intentions, actions, and emotions as you embark on a new phase of personal and spiritual growth.

What does Virgo energy represent?

Virgo is the sixth sign of the zodiac in astrology, and it is associated with those born between August 23 and September 22. Virgo is ruled by the planet Mercury and is represented by the symbol of the Virgin, often depicted as a woman holding a sheaf of wheat.

Virgo is the bridge between our mind intellect and our bodies messages sending us. Virgo rules the gut, so going with your gut right now is aligned with the Virgo energy.

Here are some key characteristics and traits commonly associated with the Virgo zodiac sign:

  1. Earth Element: Virgo is one of the three earth signs in the zodiac, along with Taurus and Capricorn. This grounding element imparts practicality, stability, and a strong connection to the physical world.
  2. Mutable Modality: Virgo is a mutable sign, which means it is adaptable and flexible. Virgos are skilled at adjusting to changing circumstances and can be versatile in their approach to life.
  3. Detail-Oriented
  4. Analytical and Logical
  5. Practical and Pragmatic
  6. Service-Oriented
  7. Self-Critical
  8. Health Conscious
  9. Modesty and Humility
  10. Reliable and Responsible
  11. Introverted and Reserved
  12. Nurturing and Caring

It’s interesting to note that Mercury Retrograde started at 22 degrees of Virgo right back where this New Moon is. Mercury Retrogrades are a time for revising, reassessing, and reevaluating how things are. So this New Moon is clarifying and materializing what came up for you during the dates of August 23 to September 14th. That is what you either need to let go of, scratch that, toss it in the recycle bin, or realize you really want to focus in on that! This retrograde has been giving you signs as to what you should focus your intentions on now this New Moon. Step into the next right step.

It’s important to remember that astrology offers general personality traits associated with each zodiac sign, but individual personalities can vary significantly based on factors like upbringing, life experiences, and the influence of other planets in a person’s birth chart. Therefore, not all Virgos will exhibit all of these traits, and there is a wide range of diversity within this zodiac sign. We all have all 12 zodiac sign energies in us in different percentages.

Tarot Card pull on 9/14/23 New Moon in Virgo during Virgo Season

Today I pulled a tarot for the day. This card has not direct relation to the New Moon. It is what came out. But I thought it was a nice compliment because it is all about new adventures that New Moons bring.

The Knight of Wands is one of the 78 cards in a standard Tarot deck, and it belongs to the suit of Wands, which is associated with the element of fire. In a Tarot card reading, the Knight of Wands is often seen as a card of action, passion, and adventure. It reminds of Sagittarius a fire Zodiac who is all about adventure, travel, and truth.

Its specific meanings can vary depending on the context of the reading and the surrounding cards, but here are some common interpretations:

  1. Action and Energy: The Knight of Wands represents a surge of energy and a desire for action. It suggests that you or someone in your life is ready to take on new challenges and pursue goals with enthusiasm and determination.
  2. Adventure and Travel: This card can also symbolize a desire for adventure and exploration. It may indicate a journey, either physical or metaphorical, that involves excitement and discovery.
  3. Spontaneity: The Knight of Wands is known for its spontaneity and willingness to take risks. It encourages you to embrace spontaneity and be open to new opportunities that come your way.
  4. Passion and Creativity: This card can signify a strong creative or passionate energy. It’s a time when your creative ideas and projects can take off, and you may be feeling inspired and motivated.
  5. Impulsiveness: While the Knight of Wands is enthusiastic, it can sometimes indicate a tendency to act without careful planning. It’s important to balance this enthusiasm with practicality and consider the consequences of your actions.
  6. Change and Movement: The Knight of Wands can signal a period of change and movement in your life. It may be time to break free from routines or situations that have become stagnant.
  7. Determination: When this card appears, it suggests a determination to overcome obstacles and pursue your goals with unwavering focus. It can be a reminder to stay committed to your path.
  8. Leadership: The Knight of Wands is a natural leader. It can indicate that you or someone else is taking charge of a situation and leading with confidence.
  9. Adventurous Spirit: This card encourages you to embrace your adventurous spirit and be open to new experiences and opportunities. It’s a call to follow your passions and chase after your dreams.

Overall, the Knight of Wands is a dynamic and energetic card that signifies action, passion, and a willingness to embrace the unknown. However, it’s important to approach this energy with a degree of caution and balance to ensure that your actions are purposeful and aligned with your long-term goals.

I pulled the chart for the New Moon here below in LA

Wow no wonder I have been feeling an intense initiating energy to get my book edited and this blog to be so extensive. Type is Manifestor energy. And I was so emotional this morning, with the solar plexus defined and 5 gates in the solar plexus defined.

You see all this energy is activating your own chart. So if you do not have a gate defined in your birth chart, you will feel it for about 4 days when the transiting planets hit the defined gates, therefor influencing your chart to feel them.

I see the will is defined, giving all. of us open will beings the gusto to plant seeds, manifest and get stuff done with discipline. and stay power so our seeds that we plant can literally manifest into whatever we intend for them to now for in the future.
