Has a book changed your life?

I love a good self development book, and many have changed my life. In fact books and stories have taught humans many things over the centuries. But when I read Outlander by Diana Gabaldon my heart opened up. …

I was a young mother of two babies in diapers and was determined not to abandon them emotionally.

I was in the middle of my spiritual awakening and healing from emotional and sexual abuse and grappling with how and why that happened.

Let’s just say my stress level was high.

And I discovered ALL of the books written by Diana Gabaldon. A historical, time travel fiction novel series.

I downloaded them on Audible and listened every nap time, on walks, and every bed time as I pushed the youngest in a stroller to sleep.

I ate them up and listened over and over!

I can’t pin Point exactly why or how, but it opened my mind to possibilities of the concept of time not being linear. It opened my mind to connect with a healed ancestor through meditation. And it also inspired me to explore my past life experiences.

There was something so dreamy and deep about the impossibility of time travel, yet also so inspiring and heart warming as a love story.

The romance love itself was steamy and delicious, but also the deep love mother had for daughter, daughter had for mother. It was so beautiful and inspiring.

This book opened me up to lean deeper in my spiritual healing journey and I am so glad I discovered this series.

What is the book that changed your life???

Raven Scott

As a way for giving back and processing my abuse and healing process I wrote a book in 2021.

“Thank you for your podcast and book! It has helping me through this dark period. Thank you for sharing your stories and creating a safe environment for survivors.”

I have heard this countless of times. And I am so grateful I braved blackmail, shame, and guilt to publish my book to help others NOT feel alone, crazy or too emotional.

You can buy your copy of my book and gain How to overcome narcissistic abuse, and recover from PTSD, codependency, gaslighting, manipulation. A guide to heal from childhood trauma with effective exercises and how to live as your true self with human design 101. On Amazon, and listen on Audible.
